Devotee praying to Krishna with hope and resilience
Reading Time: < 1 minute

“O best among men [Arjuna], the person who is not disturbed by happiness and distress and is steady in both is certainly eligible for liberation.” (BG 2.15)

Life often throws challenges we don’t see coming — failures, losses, or sudden setbacks. In such times, faith can be the anchor that keeps us steady. Faith in Krishna has helped countless people discover strength and hope when everything seemed lost.

Ravi’s Struggles

Ravi, a young man with big dreams, worked hard to build his business. But an economic downturn left him bankrupt, drowning in debt, and feeling hopeless. Friends avoided him, and sleepless nights consumed his peace.

One evening, he entered a small Krishna temple. The chants of “Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna…” and the calm aura of the deity gave him peace he hadn’t felt in weeks. For the first time, he felt that he didn’t have to carry the burden alone.

Finding Faith

Ravi began reading the Bhagavad Gita daily. One verse struck him:

“A person who is not disturbed by happiness and distress is fit for liberation.” (BG 2.15)

He realized problems were not punishments but lessons. Slowly, he replaced despair with surrender — trusting Krishna to guide him. Each day, he chanted, prayed, and built inner strength.

Resilience in Action

Faith didn’t magically erase Ravi’s debts. But it gave him courage. Instead of giving up, he started tutoring children and working on small projects. His calmness surprised his family. Step by step, opportunities returned — and within a year, his life was stable again.

More importantly, Ravi changed inside. Success no longer meant just money. It meant peace, kindness, and growth.

    💡 The Lesson Inside
Faith in Krishna doesn’t remove life’s storms. It gives us the strength to walk through them. With faith, setbacks become lessons and struggles become stepping stones. Ravi learned that true wealth is not material, but the unshakable trust that Krishna walks beside us.
